The Wandering Gourmet is currently looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Personal Shopper. This individual will be responsible for daily shopping, light office work, and meal packaging. Applicants must possess a passion for food, understanding of cooking techniques, products, and ingredients, positive attitude, be a team player and have an eagle eye for detail.
We are Michigan’s largest personal chef service located in Rochester Hills. In our commercial kitchen, we prepare from-scratch meals and seasonal menus for families of all sizes extending beyond the tri-county area. No day is the same.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 1 year in a professional kitchen or food service
- Strong kitchen prep skills
- Passion to learn more about food
- Is a team player and works well with others
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong reading skills
- Reliable and predictable attendance
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Culinary school degree/bachelor’s degree preferred, but not necessary
